5. Installing the Ink Cartridges

Insert the ink cartridges of the respective colors.

Discard the discharged ink in the drain bottle.

Be sure to discard. If not discarded at this step, the discharged ink will

overow.

Attach the drain bottle and press .

Performing Heads Cleaning



Insert the supplied hexagonal wrench in the hole shown in the

gure below, and turn it to the direction of the arrow.

The valve closes.

Wait for the next instruction.

This operation may take about 5 minutes. Stay near this machine during that time and complete the

operation according to the instructions shown on the screen. Never leave the machine midway in clean-

ing operation. It may damage the print heads and operation of the machine may become impossible.
