5. Installing the Ink Cartridges

Installing the Ink Cartridges

During cleaning, you need to insert and remove cartridges several times. The on-screen messages tell you

when or which cartridge to be inserted or removed.

The SOL INK cleaning cartridges are not dierentiated by color.

CAUTION

Never insert your hand or ngers into the opening of the front cover.

The print heads move at high speed inside the cover. Contact may cause

injury.

Switch on the power and make the initial settings.



Close the front cover.

Insert each color ink cartridge into the slot labeled with the matching color. If you insert wrong car-

tridges when lling ink, the condition cannot be restored easily. Contact your authorized Roland DG

Corp. dealer or us., if you lled ink with wrong cartridges inserted.

Be sure to follow the on-screen inst-

ructions for insertion and removal.

 Insert and remove slowly, one at a time.

 Insert rmly, as far as it will go.

 Insert rmly until you hear a beep.
